These terms govern your use of satorilifetech.com, operated by Satori Life Tech Co., Ltd. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you are confirming that you are authorised to accept these terms for that company.
What this site is
An informational presentation of our ingredient platforms, our research, and the development services we offer to skincare brands. It exists so that a formulator or a brand principal can decide whether a conversation with us is worth having.
It is not a webshop. Nothing on it can be bought, and no part of it creates a supply relationship.
No offer, no contract
Descriptions of ingredients, specifications, capabilities, timelines, and services on this site are illustrative. They are an invitation to talk, not an offer capable of acceptance, and they do not commit us to supply anything on any particular terms.
Supply, OEM/ODM, contract development, and co-filed patent work are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Where anything on this site conflicts with such an agreement, the signed agreement controls. Submitting the enquiry form does not create one.
Ingredient and research claims
The scientific and technical information on this site is addressed to formulators and brand owners, not to consumers. It describes our materials and our research; it is not a promise of performance in your formulation, at your inclusion rate, in your base, or under your storage conditions.
Nothing here is medical advice, and none of the statements on this site have been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Nothing we supply is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
If you incorporate our materials into a finished product, you remain responsible for your own stability, compatibility, safety, and efficacy testing, for your own claim substantiation, and for compliance with the cosmetic regulations of every market you sell into. We will support that work under a supply agreement; we cannot do it for you from a web page.
Unsolicited submissions
Do not send us confidential information through this site. The enquiry form, the newsletter field, and unencrypted email are not confidential channels. Do not send formulations, unpublished results, specifications, supplier identities, or anything else you would not want disclosed.
Anything you do send us outside a signed non-disclosure agreement is treated as non-confidential. We may use it to respond to you and to run our business, without obligation or compensation to you. This protects both of us: we work on similar problems for many brands at once, and an unsolicited disclosure would otherwise put our independent development at risk.
Tell us what you want to achieve. Once an NDA is in place, we can go into detail.
Intellectual property
The text, images, research summaries, data, layout, and code of this site, together with the SATORI and SATORI LIFE TECH names and marks, belong to Satori Life Tech Co., Ltd. or to its licensors. Our patents, patent applications, and know-how are not licensed to you by anything on this site.
You may read the site, and quote briefly from it with attribution. You may not republish it, scrape it in bulk, mirror it, use it to train a machine-learning model, or present our research as your own.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or to any system behind it.
- Probe, scan, or test its security without our written permission.
- Interfere with its availability for anyone else.
- Submit false contact details, or impersonate another brand or person.
- Use automated tools to harvest content or contact details from it.
Third-party links
Where this site links elsewhere, that is a convenience and not an endorsement. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their handling of your data.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it at any time, and we may correct or update its content without notice.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the content is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
This disclaimer concerns the website. Warranties for materials we actually supply to you are set out in the supply agreement covering that supply, and are not affected by this section.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Satori Life Tech Co., Ltd. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of your use of this site or your reliance on its content — whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised that such loss was possible.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability arising out of this site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Satori Life Tech Co., Ltd. against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of the rights of a third party through that use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this site, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continue in force. Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.
